Slippery roads trigger weekend fog crashes near Gettysburg
Fog and wet pavement caused multiple auto accidents across Gettysburg and surrounding routes on Sunday. Bechtel's Hill saw three collisions within 15 minutes, including a slide that damaged a car driven by George Chritzman. none were seriously injured. Mrs. Susan Adams suffered serious injuries in a Bechtel's Hill derailment, while others incurred minor hurts as vehicles struck culverts, embankments, or light standards.

Renewal of 1926 Drivers Licenses Begins Soon
Officials in the department of highways announced that mailing of renewal applications for motor vehicle operators licenses will start about January 4. Current licenses expire February 28 at midnight. Renewal forms ask if the applicant has any mental or physical incapacity and if their license or right to operate has ever been suspended or revoked. 1925 licensees who have changed addresses should notify the motor vehicle bureau with their new address and 1925 operator number.

Hanover couple tragedy ends in double tragedy

Poultry Expert Taylor Returns to Adams County Extension
