State police and Adams county officers raided the home of Robert Shirley along Fairfield road and seized a gallon of alleged liquor a bottle capper and a siphon Shirley and Oliver Stull were taken to jail in default of $1 bail each Shirley admitted responsibility for the liquor and plans were made to drop the charge against Stull Trooper Walsh and officers Aughinbaugh and Shearer conducted the raid after purchasing a pint of moonshine for 1.50 from Shirley earlier.
