Driver loses control in York area crash into fence
Police report Jeffrey R German of York lost control of a Chevrolet pickup on a curve near Hampton. The pickup crashed through a fence and ended in a field, heavily damaged. Fairfield Man Suffers Concussion In Early Morning Crash
A Fairfield motorist, Leroy Hant, 31, of Fairfield, sustained a slight concussion after his 1976 Chevrolet coupe collided with a 1975 GMC truck operated by Albert A Cosha Jr 38 of Gettysburg. The crash occurred about 4 10 am Sunday, three and a half miles east of Gettysburg, as Hant applied brakes on a westbound car causing tar to skid. Hant was treated at Warner Hospital and released. Minor damage to the Cosha vehicle and moderate damage to Hant’s car were reported.

Armed Robberies Hit County Over Weekend
Three robberies occurred in the county over the weekend with a Seven Eleven store theft leaving an undisclosed cash amount. High's Store Cumberland Two Robbery By Black Couple
Police seek information on a black couple who robbed a clerk at High's Store two miles west of town at 9 55 p m Sunday. The woman is described as five four, 110 pounds, blue jeans, black maxi coat, winter cap, carrying two pocketbooks. The man is described as five four, 120 pounds, blue jeans. They fled in a blue Mercury Cougar or Plymouth Barracuda with a ragged top, joined by a third party. The woman picked up crackers, placing them on the counter during the incident.
