Mrs Grace E Rebert aged 81 formerly of Seven Stars died at 5 30 p m Sunday at the Kuhn Convalescent Home New Oxford She had lived there since 1967 A native of Adams County she was daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Aaron Lohr She was a member of St John s United Church of Christ McKnightstown Surviving are her husband Pertin W Rebert two daughters Anna L Mummert Allentown and Estella E Myers Knoxlyn eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren She was the last survivor of her immediate family Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a m from Monahan Funeral Home Carlisle Street with Rev Edwin W Coddington officiating Interment will be in McKnightstown Cemetery Friends may call at the church from 10 a m Wednesday until services time.

Richard J. Rosensteel, former Delone High School and Villanova football star, was seriously injured in a hunting accident last Monday in upstate. He was shot in the heel when a rifle was unloaded by a hunting companion, driven to Danville Hospital where he remained unconscious, with reports of heavy blood loss.

A morning bedroom fire at the Raymond Timmins residence near Edge Grove prompted Conewago and McSherrystown fire crews to battle thick smoke on the second floor. Fireman Thomas Carbaugh suffered smoke inhalation, was treated on site, then released from Hanover Hospital. Damages were limited to clothing and furniture as investigators sought the origin. Separate hunting reports note two deer bucks. Donald Coddington killed a six point buck in Mt Joy Two, and Clarence Eyler Jr. bagged an eight point buck in the Barlow area, his second of the year.

Hampton Girls Hurt In Crash On Route 94
Two Hampton teenage girls were treated at Hanover Hospital after an 800 dollar collision on Route 94 two and a half miles north of Cross Keys at 3 p.m. Saturday. Passengers Lou Ann Hartzel 14 and Debbie Cockerly 16 suffered cuts and head injuries while in Leroy Stoner 18's car. Gail Heyser 18 who drove the other car escaped injury. Police Chief Charles Roche attributed the crash to sudden brake action on a crest leading to loss of control and a broadside impact. Stoner and Heyser were unhurt.

Driver Faces Two Charges After McSherrystown Crash
Francis L. Bennett of Gettysburg was charged with reckless driving and operating under the influence after a Sunday 1:10 a.m. crash on Main Street McSherrystown. His 1964 Mercury hit a parked 1968 Plymouth, then struck the home at 126 Main Street, causing about 150 dollars damage to the house and 1,775 dollars total vehicle damage. Bennett was treated for chin lacerations and released.
