Veterans and dependants see record VA benefits in 1981

Adams County residents and dependants received over 2.8 million dollars in benefits from the Veterans Administration for fiscal year 1981, announced by the county Veterans Affairs head. Page 12. Maryland plans Route 15 tourist center in Emmitsburg

Nurse practitioner seen as way to cut health care costs

Connie Sanger a Pennsylvania based nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology argues that expanding nurse practitioner roles can reduce medical expenses by handling routine care. She notes they perform assessments diagnose minor ambulatory issues and prescribe contraception while referring complex cases to physicians.
