Hamiltonian Township moves toward final approval of an AgriDistrict covering about 4800 acres and over 240 farms. The district would exempt included farms from nuisance rules and potential condemnation. The AAAC and planning groups approved a map with a 25 acre minimum to qualify as a viable farm, with final zoning action pending public hearings and comments from Gettysburg Borough and county planning bodies.
