West Main Street residents and possibly the entire Borough of Arendisville may be without water due to Friday morning repairs. Borough officials warned the outage duration is unknown and apologized for the inconvenience. Pumping Station Road will close 6 a.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Monday for TNT film of The Killer Angels. Road from Cunningham Road to Marsh Creek Road will be dirt covered during closure.

Arendtsville Borough Council saluted Steven Myers Elliot Schlosser and Barbara Martin for outstanding service.
