Opponents warn access would be restricted to the cemetery, monuments, and Devil’s Den, affecting elderly and disabled visitors. The plan, under final review by James W Coleman Jr, aims to guide management for 10 to 15 years and could be approved in October.
Adams County farmers report a light, uneven two to three inch rainfall. Some fields gained scant moisture while others stayed dry, with many asking for regular rains of at least an inch weekly to keep crops healthy through late summer. Some blame cloud seeding, while others cite terrain as the main pattern shaper.
