A dozen Littlestown High School students joined statewide Drive Smart kickoff in Harrisburg. Sponsored by PennDOT, the program targets 35 risky driving behaviors to educate new and seasoned drivers. SADD members attended the event with teachers, state troopers, PennDOT staff, and race car legends including Richard Petty, honorary chairman of Highway Safety Month. Petty signed Drive Smart boards as 508 billboards will be placed statewide.

Huntington supervisors and residents voiced concern over Penn Township allowing sludge to be spread on Enud Hermansen and Sons Farm in Huntington Township.
