Cumberland Township supervisors move to advertise a proposed ordinance requiring house numbers on homes and mailboxes. Numbers must be at least three inches high, visible from the road, and on both mailbox sides unless a residence is 300 feet from the road. Next vote and 30 day compliance followed.

Recycling operation proposed in Adams County
Two Philadelphia men, John Bambach Jr and Walt Bambach of ITC Waste Services, urged Adams County Solid Waste Authority to back a commercial recycling plant.
