Pielant and Berceau Sailors Report At Nantasket Bay
Boston September 29 report says on Saturday the Briath sloop of war Pielant sailed from Nantasket Road toward the bay and hove to near the light-house. In the night the French corvette Berceau unmoored from President Road and went to sea. The Pielant returned to Nantasket-road in apparent order. Five hundred dollars were raised for the Boston female asylum anniversary celebration.
