Cotton ginned by a saw gin proves cleaner than roller gin
The subscriber certifies after comparing cotton ginned at Mr. J Symonds home with a saw gin to that passed through a roller gin. The saw gin cotton is cleaner and freer from drift with no difference in staple length. Carding shows little length difference and no knotting, spinning into fine thread as with the roller gin.
