Washington on September 25 Dr Ira S Wiley of New York urged that women will refuse marriage unless the groom produces a doctor’s certificate of perfect health on the wedding day. He linked sex hygiene to girls education, saying educated girls can train boys toward better habits.
A melodramatic serial unfolds with General Deriment, wife Mathilde, and daughter as pirates capture them near Algiers. Hyde of Anderson who was convicted of killing his wife and father-in-law and sentenced to death will be electrocuted at the prison on October 1 after a commission declared him sane.
Grace Church resumes Sunday evening services on September 29 at 8 15 p.m. The fast vested choir will perform and Very Rev. P J Robottom will preach at the opening service. Grace Church invites all to attend, with Naga and Courier noted in attendance.

Berlin reports the Reichstag approved first and second readings of a pension bill for military aviators. The measure treats accidents occurring during flight on the same level as war casualties, expanding wartime compensation to peacetime flying.
