Foul murder shocks Ebenezer farm community

Florence October 29 A well known Ebenezer farmer Elihu M Moye was found slain on his piazza from gunshot wounds. Clarence Ham a 30 year old negro is jailed and charged by the coroner s jury with the crime. Evidence includes the victim s coat and trousers found at a witness house and testimony linking Ham to the farm and murder site. The case hinges on the coroner s jury verdict as authorities await a criminal court term.
