Bodies of miners recovered after Starkville mine disaster
Fifty four hours after the explosion at the Starkville Colorado Fuel and Iron mine more than fifty men were entombed. The first bodies were found at 3 50 this morning 1200 feet from the mouth and eight more at 5 30. The victims were killed instantly with some badly burned.
