Baltimore Port Welcomes New Liner From Lloyd Register

A new ship for the Baltimore and Carolina Steamship Company, built by Harlan & Hollingsworth of Wilmington, is to be commissioned within six months as the first vessel owned and operated out of Baltimore under the Lloyd Register. Nesbitt Electrocuted Trying to Lower Bridge at Ferguson

A Black laborer Nesbitt from Cainhoy was fatally electrocuted while attempting to lower a trolley line bridge at Ferguson.
