Opera House Seats Still Available for Georgetown Play

Manager Haselden of the city’s opera house says reports of sold out reserved seats are false and many remain for the coming Thursday night performance. Also notes the Wills Comedy Company played well in Sumter on November 6–7 and will appear in Georgetown Thursday through Saturday with The Atlantic City, Two Old Cronies, and Sweet Sixteen.

Boy maimed after fall from freight train in Jonesville

Abel Davis a 13 year old colored boy fell from a moving freight train in the Jonesville yards around 1 PM. His right arm was crushed to the elbow and doctors amputated above the elbow at the Jonesville Drug Store. He is reported doing well despite warnings from bystanders.

Dam plan eyed to restock Niagara Lake levels
