Lexington October 31 Mr D B Rawl a prominent Lexington County farmer sold five bales of long staple cotton in Columbia on Saturday for 17 cents per pound. The cotton was grown near Lexington in the red land and the yield of long staple was nearly equal to the ordinary variety.
