Death of Miss Ruth Adams at Columbia Hospital
Ruth Adams 16 from Laurens, daughter of U S Marshal J Duncan Adams of Charleston, died at noon Thursday at Columbia hospital after blood poisoning from a hand wound. She was treated after transfer from Lander college and underwent surgery to remove infected tissue but failed to recover. Funeral at Laurens Friday at noon.
