Pistol Battle Leaves Fatalities at Rocky Xion Church

At a negro society meeting near Laurens line a pistol clash left one dead and several wounded. Verge Williams sparked the riot. Sheriff Buford and deputies arrested suspects as coroner held inquests. Separately a note signed Dorothy Arnold was found in Pensacola Bay claiming a future discovery of dead bodies and hair for her family.
