South Carolina to send 15 delegates to Irrigation Congress
Governor Martin F. Ansel will appoint 15 delegates from South Carolina for the seventeenth National Irrigation Congress in Spokane August 9 to 14. R. Insinger cements plans for Southern representation amid swamp land reclamation and forestry talks. Governors day August 13 will host chief executives from across the nation with a Southern reception and banquet planned by Spokane's Southern club. Estimated 3,500 to 4,000 delegates expected, with capacity for more.
