SHAS S. POOLE KILLS HIMSELF. Charles S. Poole died at the Hotel Sumter at 3 o'clock from a large dose of chloric mercury administered to himself. The Sumter native, 25, left a note to his wife, underwent an inquest, and the coroner's jury ruled death by suicidal intent. He leaves a wife and young daughter and funeral services will be in Sumter tomorrow.
