A fragment notes Georgetown post office details as second class matter on July 26 under the Act of Congress of March.
A Georgetown delegation including Mayor H W Fraser Representative Olin Sawyer and W H Andrews urged Washington officials to restore and fund a fully equipped engineering office in Georgetown for the Winyah Bay rivers project. They argued the office has historically spurred vast commerce and the district needs continuous federal support despite illness delaying action. Senator Tillman Congressman Lever and Ellerbe were cited for their backing and the group praised their efforts.
