Clemson Winthrop agricultural train led by Prof. D N Barrow arrived to an enthusiastic crowd of 300 in Georgetown. Demonstrations covered hogs cows and horses with six cars labeled for grain and household goods. Lunch was served at Mercer Bros. A. Smith T F Jackson J M Burgess led the demonstrations with Miss Corrie Hyde in Winthrop car assisted by a railroad agent.
