Traveling jeweler charged in Myrtle Beach assault

Meager details of a criminal assault on a sixteen year old girl near Myrtle Beach last Tuesday night. A warrant was sworn out after the train arrived with Magistrate Chestnut receiving word of the case. The accused, Fred Stalls, fled and had not been captured by last reports. He is described as a traveling jeweler who creates pins and rings from gold plated bars and has been in the area off and on over the past year.
