In Charlotte North Carolina on June 8 Mrs Ida Hill widow of Dr Joel Hill was found dead at her mother Mrs J H Ragsdale home in James town. She was bound gagged and suffocated with a stocking and throat filling. The crime occurred between midnight and daylight and burglars are suspected. Her sister Miss Jennie Ragsdale a Bryn Mawr College faculty member was in the house. No suspects yet.
