Six people drowned when a launch capsized during a party for the upcoming marriage of Miss Vera Brown and Edward B Holmes on Utah Lake. The vessel carried sixteen guests. among the dead were the bride and groom and two children of Capt. Frank Brown, owner of the launch. By late tonight Vera Brown's body had been recovered.

Scottsboro Alabama June 4 A brief says Mrs J M Skelton wife of a prominent farmer disappeared two weeks ago while temporarily insane and died of hunger after wandering about a week subsisting on bark and twigs A little dog led her husband Tom Gentle to the remains after more than ten days of ceaseless search with frantic efforts by the dog described as almost human.
