The company formed after the failed consolidation of Hampton and Columbian Magazine last fall sought a receiver in dissolution. Trio Takes Fatal Drop in Jacksonville Hang
Eugene Baxter alias Eugene Nelson Tom White and Steve Johnson three black men were hanged at St Augustine after Baxter and Johnson were convicted of killing Simon Silverstein a Jacksonville grocer in March Johnson also confessed to killing another black man in St Johns County Baxter and White maintained innocence on the scaffold.
