Local and Personal Notes From The Daily Item
A collage of short notices recounts small town life: calls for cabbage plants from R C Griggs, a lost small silver open faced watch with reward to R B Wiggins at 12% Cleland St, and varied local chatter about health magazines, sausage legality, and a tourist hotel barber shop inviting visitors with popular prices. Other items note a wedding of Lydia Smith to Benjamin Whaley, local commerce such as oysters at Westbury Pool Room, and routine council money matters plus a brief market listing of fruits and produce.

Gift of love through Christ offered on simple terms
The message states that love from Jesus Christ is given on the easiest possible terms and received by belief. Belief means trust and dependence, recognizing God as able and willing to do all He offers, with the believer trusting Him to act. Rev. W. N. Rankin emphasizes that belief is more than mere assent.
