The State Supreme Court ruled unanimously on February 15 that Senator Tillman’s grandchildren are awarded to their mother, McCaw, in the Tillman case.
Columbia reports Representative Doars bill imposing inspection tax on liquor shipped into the state was killed by the House this morning. McCaw.
Tillie Ominsky, a factory worker in St. Paul, was awarded $2000 by a Circuit Court jury after showing that a fright from a machine injury caused her hair to fall out. She had been employed at a paper box elevator for about a year when her waist was caught in wheels and shafting, pulling her against the machine. Physicians testified the fright destabilized her nervous system leading to hair loss.
