Wealthy man performs self surgery on appendicitis dies

McKeesport Pennsylvania December 16. William Eichler a wealthy retiree dismissed his son Dr George B Eichler and said he would operate on himself for appendicitis. He was found with a gash in his abdomen beside a butcher knife and died early this morning after admitting the self operation.
