Memorial Service of Aiks at Baptist Church
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Aiks held memorial services at the Baptist Church yesterday at 4 p.m. A large attendance heard Exalted Ruler T. D. Forbes open with remarks on the meaning of the yearly cere mony. A sextet and choir performed several anthems, and G F von Kolnitz of Charleston delivered a discourse on brotherly love. The program included Abide with Me Oh Dry Those Tears Nearer My God to Thee and Auld Lang Syne with prayer and benediction by Chaplain L B Smith.

Death of an Aged Lady Mrs S W Rouquie Dies in City
Mrs S W Rouquie aged about 78 died last Saturday night at 8 o clock in the city. Funeral services were held at 11 this morning in Duncan Methodist church and the remains placed in a vault in the Episcopal graveyard. She leaves a husband a son and several daughters. The family was to the sorrowing relatives and friends a symbol of gentleness and kindness in life.
