Commodore E C Benedict plans a four months cruise aboard the four masted Alvina, sailing Dec 15 for Buenos Aires with James McCutcheon Colgate Hoyt and guests. The voyage follows the prior Cuban coast wreck of the Virginia. Mrs Clifford B Harmon leads a party including Mrs M K Bird and Miss Mary Finley.

Mr Kaminska of George Town owner of the Palmetto yacht was in port returning home from Savannah after attending automobile races. He traveled with his brothers Joseph and Harold Kamin ski Lieutenant Colonel Homes Springs and J J Blandin. Col Springs hosted aboard Col Wm H Cogswell Capt J C D Shhroe der and Major A J Silcox. The Palmetto, 65 feet long and fully equipped, impresses with modern conveniences and electric lighting.
