Hotel Guest Phos Moffett Dies by Suicide in New York
A hundred hotel guests at the Long Acre in New York were startled by a pistol shot. Maid Norah Keene found Phos Moffett dead in bed with a bullet hole in his temple and a smoking army pistol in his hand. He had served in Company C of the Seventh Regiment and had stayed at the hotel for months.
