In New York on July 21 Paul Geidel confessed to murdering William Henry Jackson the elderly broker. Geidel's mother fainted upon hearing the admission and recovered half an hour later. Geidel’s arraignment was postponed to tomorrow to seek a commission to test his sanity. Gray, his lawyer, said a wealthy hotel man has offered to fund the defense.
