Madmen stab guard and two flee asylum

Three inmates James Quinn Robert Buckley and Romeo Syckofsky attacked guard James Hoolahan at Mattewan Hospital for the Criminal Insane using a corset steel stiletto and sandbags. Quinn Buckley and Syckolsky fled over the gate but were recaptured. Hoolahan was wounded but not fatally and expected to return to duty in about a week.
