Murderer’s Victim Nathan Cederlof Shot in Honolulu
Nathan M. Cederlof formerly of Geneseo Hawaii Territory was shot dead by A McMahon a quartermaster sergeant of Company B second Infantry in front of his home at Lellehua. The shooting followed a dispute over Cederlof’s wife. McMahon was disarmed by Sergeants Scheisel and Grant and imprisoned. An inquest was planned. McMahon faced federal action. Cederlof left a wife and a 14 year old son and was well known in Honolulu.
