Miga Bird Knox began as assistant at Alpha school. Enrollment prompts a third teacher. Knox teaches primary and upper rooms.

Jno W Crawford Esq long time Munson township resident and Presbyterian elder dies at 65 after 20 months illness. Born Bowling Green Kentucky 1823 he moved to Henry county in 1850 married Mary Snyder 1851 later to J Morrow. Survived by children Libbie Ida Clara Minnie Arthur John Jay Jesse and others. Funeral held at Munson Presbyterian with Rev N W Thornton officiating. Interment in Munson cemetery.
