Two Warkets choice cattle led a Geneseo short course sale on Monday February 26 with a twin shorthorn steer weighing 1620 pounds selling to Morris & Company for 9.00 per cwt. Pure bred Galloway steers brought 8.75 per cwt, while a 7100 pound Short grown cow fetched 750 per cwt 1 40 above top price for similar cows. The stock impressed observers noting record dressing percentage and superior open market quality despite crowding through the gymnasium door.
