Interurban railway plans loom for Geneseo region
Geneseo leaders push a six percent cumulative preferred stock issue to fund an interurban line from Geneseo to Sterling Princeton and to connect with the tri city system. Subscriptions reached about 90 000 with 200 000 needed, backed by local banks and a Rock River Traction Co committee.
