Geneseo Township High School Class of 1911 Commencement
Geneseo township high school held commencement on Thursday evening June 1 at the Armory. A class of 31 graduates, 23 girls and 8 boys, received diplomas in the largest class yet. Valedictorian Edith Cook spoke, Rev Jenkin Lloyd Jones addressed on The Three Rs, and Mrs. Hosford awarded the D A R history prize to Lenore Loughin.

County Institute Set for Galva This Year
Henry County Institute will be held in Galva from August 7 to 11 with instructors Robt. A. Armstrong from West Virginia University in literature O. W. Caldwell from the University of Chicago leading nature study and science Cora M. Hamilton of Western Illinois Normal School directing the primary department and W. G. C. Bagley dean of the University of Illinois School of Education lecturing on educational subjects.
