Traction Meeting At Hanna Center Draws Farmers Interest
Farmers along the Hanna Center road and nearby Cleveland area met at the Hanna Center school house to discuss building an Interurban Railroad from Geneseo to Moline and Rock Island. William Harbaugh chaired the meeting as committees were named to canvass subscriptions and recruit local supporters.

Henry County Old Settlers Meet to Convene in Cambridge
The thirty fourth annual Henry County Old Settlers Association meeting will take place August 6 1908 on Hair grounds Cambridge. The Henry County Historical Society will hold its first meeting at the same location with F White of Galva explaining aims and Mrs Ella Hume Taylor reporting on progress. Citizens and old settlers urged to attend for an enjoyable day. the program will be released next week.
