Spring Hill social notes and town events spill over week

Henry Huntington was sick several days last week. John Young and Dan Cushing hosted guests, Edwin Timmerman of Erie dined with Arthur Welding, and Henry Urick and wife from Portland visited Albert Urick. Mrs F F and Mrs C Reiger dined at George Ferry's in Erie. Mrs F P Timmerman and daughter visited Alice Welding. L C Arnett improved after illness, Bert Brooks sold his barber shop to Frank Brooks, Hattie Young returned from school, the Spring Hill bazaar drew good crowds and prices, Isaac Young improved after illness, John Huchington and family shared Thanksgiving with Henry on the old homestead, David Urick’s family attended, and the first snow of the season fell.

Pioneer of Henry Cout Dies at Home Near Orion

Mrs. H. A. Blodgett a Henry county pioneer aged about 75 born in Massachusetts died Wednesday November 25 after a long life in the Orion Warner area since 1852. She leaves three children Joseph George and Mrs Elgina Kerr. The notice ends with an unrelated Christmas gift pitch for Theo Beckor's items.
