Letter from a missionary family in China 1907
A long letter from Tian Fu HUoao dated November 1 1907 describes family life near a church project in China. The writer discusses housing construction delays at two Bert led buildings, daily routines with Mrs Kelly and the Chinese workers, birthday celebrations, and gifts to relatives. They note hardships of river travel, meals, and the need to manage pay for workers, plus observations on local uprisings and the view from their verandas of the city, islands, rivers, and graves.
