Sermon Occasioned by Death of Isaac Whittington Esq

A sermon preached at Ugley Essex on May 16 1773 by Paul Wright BD Vicar. The text defends an alleged medical bath scheme with tickets for multi day admissions and costs. It lists sellers and venues in London and Cambridge and Oxford distribution points. The notice promotes tickets and discounts and mentions nonpromise of cures, daily attendance, and admission rules for balm baths. The piece reflects 18th century medical advertising tied to a funeral sermon and public lecture.
