Lisbon Mail Brings Ranger News of New York Capture

A Lisbon mail aboard the Hanover packet says New York fell to General Howe on the Rath of September and that Dr. Washington was captured. The voyage to Falmouth took seventeen days, carrying letters with the startling reports.
