New-York reports Capt Goodrich in the sloop Misissippi with the Connecticut Military Adventurers returning from exploration in the Natchez region. They laid out 23 townships. A river robbery on the Mil Rippi was blamed on six Englishmen Howard Hooper Holmes Young Heltzway Hodpen and not Spaniards. Ducharm was murdered. three were confined in a Spanish jail awaiting transfer.

He denounces rival doctors and claims his invention relieves a widespread condition treated with negligence and cruelty. He seeks no reward beyond the value his trusses provide society.
