Thanks to Commons for Loyal Address in Ireland

The Lords resolve to return thanks to the king for his gracious answer to the Commons address. The Lords pledge to grant necessary supplies for government and welfare of Ireland, trusting in the king’s paternal regard and concurrence in measures aiding peace and prosperity. The resolution will be presented to his Majesty by the Lord Chancellor and Lord Lieutenant.

Melancholy Accident At Hawick Causes Death

A woman fell from passing traffic near Slutrip over the water dividing Hawick town. She was thrown against rocks 12 to 14 feet below, fracturing her skull and mangling her body. She died four hours later after the accident reported November 13 in Newcastle.
