This afternoon at about five o clock transports carrying two Hessian regiments sailed from St Helens for North Anternés under convoy of his Majesty s ship Repulse.
In Dublin on May 22 the county poll closed with Gardener on 620 votes and Sir Edward Newenham on 616, while Deane had 53 percent? The sheriff proclaimed Gardener and Sir Edward Newenham duly elected to represent the county.
