Foreign Affairs Letter Describes Bohemian Interview Plans
Private letters from Vienna report the Emperor and the King of Prussia will soon hold another interview at Koniggratz in Bohemia to settle important affairs. They also say Count Degenfeldt, Dutch minister in Vienna, presented Austrian ministers with protests over Low Countries trade changes against the Barrier treaty and the Dutch-Austrian tariff. The replies claim predecessors were compelled to accept the treaty terms, but Empress Maria Theresa now has greater liberty to modify them, and the High Mightinesses should not object.
